18 HOURS IN THE VAN? THAT HAS GOT TO CLASS AS A TOUR…

so we ventured down to london town on thursday, and decided that despite it only being one gig, it could still class as a tour since more than 2 hours were spent either driving or sleeping in the back…

we arrived at madam jo jos to lots of sparkles, lots of gold, very austin powers movie set, very sexy… we played with a band called larko from belgium which meant there were a lot of french speakers attending. this led to a lot of people asking ‘do you speak french’ and despite my french classes in high school i had to say no i don’t speak french, but every time i did i had to stop myself adding  ’so i let the funky music do the talking’ – girls aloud will pay for that one.

we met some great people at the gig despite the language barrier and we have to say a huge thanks to pascal for booking us.

after the gig we went on the look out for some post gig snacks (something that wasn’t kfc or burger king from a service station) and found ourselves a kebab (equally healthy) on the way to our hotel in luton and had to park round the corner. on the way back to the tom tom route we found ourselves on abbey road, so ended up roaming around hunting for the studios and a photo opportunity on the cross walk at 1am. we found it and were super grateful to dave, our favorite sound guy for putting up with us being steaming and running around while he was sober and still had a drive before bedtime…

our route home was pretty smooth, we detour into galloway to pick up dave’s new van – anyone looking for a man with a van head over to bootcamp

so anyways i’m exhausted and am starting to make little sense, so catch you soon & goooooood night…
